You’ll be amazed at just how beautiful the Snowies are by horseback. Expect to see plenty of wildlife as you trek through bushland and open green pastures where kangaroo’s, wombats and often Wild Brumbies reside.

Lake Jindabyne receives its inflows from the Snowy, Thredbo and Eucumbene rivers. The lake holds Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout, as well as Atlantic Salmon. There are no boating restrictions on Lake Jindabyne and there is a concrete boat ramp near Snowline Caravan Park.

From the tiny streams such as Rendevous Creek to the often thunderous torrents of the mighty Thredbo River in spring melt, the Snowy Mountains has some of the finest trout waters on the planet.
