Mountain Biking

The Snowy Mountains is the Mecca for mountain biking, there’s something for every age and ability. Discover hundreds of kilometres of mapped trails, wilderness, alpine, high plains, valleys, and forests ride to explore.There are great rides from beginner to very technical and everything in between. 

Road Cycling

The Snowy Mountains region is an amazing place to enjoy road riding at every fitness level. The quality road surfaces, incredible views, light traffic loads and challenging climbs are all a great attraction for roads cyclists.

Horse Riding

You’ll be amazed at just how beautiful the Snowies are by horseback. Expect to see plenty of wildlife as you trek through bushland and open green pastures where kangaroo’s, wombats and often Wild Brumbies reside.


Lake Fishing

Lake Jindabyne receives its inflows from the Snowy, Thredbo and Eucumbene rivers. The lake holds Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout, as well as Atlantic Salmon. There are no boating restrictions on Lake Jindabyne and there is a concrete boat ramp near Snowline Caravan Park.

River Fishing

From the tiny streams such as Rendevous Creek to the often thunderous torrents of the mighty Thredbo River in spring melt, the Snowy Mountains has some of the finest trout waters on the planet.
